While long hair is often associated with women and femininity, there is no saying that men cannot look good with long hair. As a matter of fact, there are many men who tend to look better in long hair compared to if they wore short hair (simply take a look at all the Heavy Metal groups out there!). Let's take a look at some long hairstyles for men.
First, there is the long and wave hairstyle. When grown out, this hairstyle can look exceptionally good for some men (also depending on their face shape etc). There are many images of this hairstyle on the Internet for those of you interested in trying this style.
Next, there is the long straight style. This is a classic look that many men prefer and wear. This style in itself is self-explanatory. If you have wavy/curly hair and want to wear this hairstyle, you would need to straighten your hair; either at your hairdresser's or doing it on your own with the hair straightening iron. Two good examples of men who wear this hairstyle is singer Kid Rock and the villain who plays the role of 'Lucius Malfoy' in the “Harry Potter” movie series.
Among some of the other long hairstyles that men can opt to wear are beachy, thick and shiny, the “Country” hairstyle (layered haircut that is also parted down the middle), wavy, curly and many more.
