South Indian Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film Rana is still under pre production work. According to latest reports, the actor's latest film Rana will have not 3, but 7 ladies. Earlier three actresses Deepika Padukone, Asin and South actress Anushka Shetty were reportedly finalised for the main leads, but it seems Rana would see four more heroines. The super hit Hindi movie 3 Idiots is running successful in Chennai. Vijay was impressed by the movie and acting of Amir Khan, finally decided to do the role of Aamir Khan in Tamil remake of 3 Idiots. The other two important roles in the movie are given to Jeeva and Simbu, But Simbu is not willing to do it. I think Madhavan is going to do the role in Tamil also.
The music director for this film is Vijay Antony and cameraman is Ratnavelu. Now Vijay is busy in his 50th film Sura. After completing his shooting, the film “3 Idiots” will begin.

Circles close to Venkat Prabhu told that the movie's music album, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, will be released on May 1 at a grand function in Chennai. "The film will hit the screens within the next few weeks of the audio release," they said.
"A couple of crucial scenes and songs have to be shot. Venkat Prabhu is currently working round the clock on ‘Mankatha’. So the film would sure see the light of the day in a couple of months," they said, adding all the nine songs composed for'Mankatha' by Yuvan would top the charts.
Produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine movies, 'Mankatha', Ajith 50th film, has Trisha, Arjun, Premji, Vaibhav, Lakshmi Rai and Anjali in lead roles.

Amir Khan's 3 Idiots - the Hindi movie was a super hit movie. Now Director Shankar is remaking the film in Tamil in the name "Nanban". The heroes of the film are Vijay, Srikanth and Jeeva. Earlier many changes are took place like changing the hero and name changing etc. Now finally the shooting of the film is progressing. Ileena is the heroine of the film. The story of the film is based on the Five point someone written by Chetan Bhagat. Director Shankar is remaking the film in Tamil and also in Telugu and it is likely to be released on 26th October as Deepavali gift to Vijay fans.
