Anime Plot Summary:
Ga-Rei Zero is japanese anime series. The story begins with the Japanese Ministry of Defense has an anti-paranormal special forces group called the Paranormal Disaster Countermeasure Headquarters. They're the ones responsible to protect Japanese soil and its people from supernatural and paranormal events. However, things didn't go so well in one of their missions, which leads to intervention by the Ministry of Enviroment's Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division after the PDCH has sustained large numbers of casualties battling demons. Tsuchimiya Kagura and others rush and try to stop crisis but someone (who they know) shows up... Will you kill someone you love, Because of love?

She was taken into Isayama family and became Yomi's little sister. Kagura loves her a lot and trains herself for helping Yomi's work. Whenever she feel worried about many things, she gets courage from Yomi and others who loves her, that makes her can continue walk in her difficult path. Kagura wants to be with Yomi and others like this forever but the hardest time has come, that leads to farewell of many persons she loves the most. But in the end, because of her love..., Kagura is the only one who can stop this nightmare with her strong decision, with her power.
ByakueiAnime Info: Byakuei is spirit beast of Tsuchimiya family. After Tsuchimiya head (Tsuchimiya Kagura's mother) died during exorcist, Byakuei was sealed into soul of Kagura's father. An inugami with chains wrapped around it. Whenever Byakuei gets injured, The owner will get hurt too. He is one of the most strongest spirit beasts on earth. He was sealed and has been passed down to the head of the Tsuchimiya family for generations. A lengthy ritual is required to seal Byakuei inside the recipient.
Isayama YomiAnime Info: Yomi is the strongest in sword-user. She lost her parents at a young age to specters, and was taken in by Isayama Naraku, then head of the Isayama family. Yomi loves and respects her foster-father, and trains her skills to repay him for his kindness. Her fiance is Izuna Noriyuki who she knew him since she was a kid. She inherits the sword Shishio (Isayama's treasure), which held the spiritual beast Ranguren in it. Yomi has a cousin named Isayama Mei, who was exorcist freelancer. 3 years ago, Yomi and her father go to respect the death of Kagura's mother, she met Kagura and took her into her family. She cares about Kagura a lot. Yomi wants to protect Kagura forever and wants Kagura be her little sister forever but when crisis reaches to Yomi's life, she losts everything and makes her walk away from Kagura's life. In the end, Yomi prays to protect Kagura and eliminate her misfortunes. Finally, her tragedy comes to end by someone she love the most.
Ranguren/NueAnime Info: Yomi's spirit beast that within the japanese sword "Shishio". Ranguren is looks like the lion and has many snake tails. He can shoot light power what was called "Houkouha" from his mouth.
Izuna NoriyukiAnime Info: The only son of Izuna family. He was the fiancee of Isayama Yomi since he was a kid. His power is Kudakitsune that can spy or fight in battles. Noriyuki works exorcist with Yomi and Kagura and love them a lot. He cares about Yomi and give courage to Kagura when they feel down.
Jinguuji AyameAnime Info: The Minister of Environment and Fujiko Mine's other granddaughter. Despite being confined to a wheelchair, she is nice and very kind. Her secretary is Kiri Nikaidou who she likes call her "Kiri-chan." Her strategy skill is splendid and she respect Kiri's recommendation. Ayame's husband was dead and she blames that this is her fault. She cannot forgive anyone who possess seshouseki, no matter the reason.
Ayame is also the only person who addresses the spiritual beasts (chiefly Ranguren) with nicknames that end in "-chan" (such as Ranguren > Ran-chan).
Nikaidou KiriAnime Info: Ayame's personal secretary who helps her in many jobs. She has a cute, serious and is very loyal to Ayame, and doesn't hesitate to scold others who disrespect her boss. She serves as the disciplinarian and the harsh voice of the Agency, in contrast to Ayame's friendly attitude.
Iwahata KoujiAnime Info: An agent of the Ministry. He is very tall and muscular, and a powerful spirit-user. Iwahata is homosexual. In anime series, Iwahata was attracted to both Noriyuki and Kazuki that makes Kazuki feels uncomfortable.
Sakuraba KazukiAnime Info: An agent of the Ministry. He is a young and sarcastic, annoying yet talented man around the same age as Noriyuki. Interestingly, his weapons are two suitcases that open up at the bottom to reveal rows of muzzles, a kind of multi-row gatling, which he also uses as melee weapons.
Nabuu BrothersAnime Info: Two large twin brothers who both have the same name, as they come from a culture that give twins the same name. Both brothers tend to finish each other's sentences. Because they look identical, it leads some of their teammates to confusion.
Michael KoharaAnime Info: A large man from Australia and a very talent in blacksmith. He is the creator of most of the Ministry of Environment's weapons from the practical guns and swords, to the often bizarre irons and boilers. nobody know why he almost naked. Despite being outlandish, he is greatly respected in the Agency for his skill, his creations famed for their ability to augment the user's spiritual output by several times.
Tsuchimiya GarakuAnime Info: Garaku is Tsuchimiya Kagura's father. He became the head of Tsuchimiya family and receieved Byakuei after his wife's death (Kagura's mother). Garaku is old friend of Isayama Naraku (the head of Isayama family). He needs Kagura, his daughter, will be strong exorcist, so he trains sword skill to her. When Garaku fights, he uses chain what tie with Byakuei as his weapon and shield.
Isayama MeiAnime Info: Mei is older cousin of Yomi. She is cool, powerful and is freelancer exorcist. Mei likes calming devil spirits by herself and her weapon is beautiful spear. She is a bit jealously about Yomi who will be the next head of Isayama family but she does not show her true feeling to anyone. Mei's father is Isayama Yuu.

Isayama NarakuAnime Info: The head of Isayama family, the foster father of Isayama Yomi and big brother of Isayama Yuu. He is kind spirit but strict sometimes. Naraku is worried about Yomi's feeling about being Noriyuki's fiance. He and Tsuchiyama Garaku are old friends and met Kagura when she is a little kid.

Isayama YuuAnime Info: Yuu is Isayama Mei's father and younger brother of Isayama Naraku. He does not like risk duty about exorcist and that is the reason that his older brother (Naraku) decides that Yomi will be the head of Isayama family next to him. Yuu does not like Naraku's decision to let outsider (such as Yomi) will become the head and receive the treasure of family (the sword 'Shishiou'). He expects his daughter, Mei, will be better than Yomi.

YattinAnime Info: Yattin is energetic girl and is a close friend of Miku and studies in the same class with Kagura. In Ga-Rei Zero anime, she and Miku became Kagura's friend too, teasing Kagura and this trio enjoy eating sometime. Yattin and Miku are members of swimming club. Whenever Kagura cannot solve problems or is worried about Yomi and Noriyuki, Yattin and Miku will always encourage her. In anime, Kagura saved her and Miku from spirit disaster. After that, they begin understanding how difficult in duty that Kagura must face.

MikuAnime Info: Miku is calme and kind girl and is a close friend of Yattin. She studies in the same class with Yattin and Kagura. In Ga-Rei Zero anime, she and Yattin became Kagura's friend too and this trio girl enjoy eating sometime. Miku and Yattin are members of swimming club. In anime, Kagura saved her and Yattin from spirit disaster. After that, they begin understanding how difficult in duty that Kagura must face with it. In the last episode, she gives the only favourite snack (that Kagura likes eating) to Yattin when they are worried about Kagura.

Mitogawa KazuhiroAnime Info: This little kid is the only one who starts nightmare to everyone in Ga-rei anime. Kazuhiro was the one who destroyed everthing of Yomi and gave Yomi her sesshouseki. One of his eyes contains a sesshouseki. His status and goal is still unknown.
