Hello everyone...
Amazing week so far,aye??
Been so busy with exams,exams,exams..!! Missed my first Arise Magazine Fashion week fitting today because of my exams. Sucks to be a student. *sighs*
I told you I had two fashion shows on my tab in my last post. The first one,Project Red fashion show was held on the 27th of february. The main purpose for the event was to create an awareness for the disease,HIV.
Lots of designers showcased their wonderful collection and I had the opportunity of styling Wana sambo's fall collection.
70's inspired, consisting of monochromatic maxi dresses, crop tops, jersey tanktops, flared pants, high waisted maxi skirts, with colour palette ranging from bright coral, pink and grey marked Wana Sambo's "Light as Air" collection.
What I love about this collection is its take on the 70's era with comfortable pieces that look really pretty. Captivated with the whimsical feel and maxi glam,This collection seems perfect for the Modern Day Diana Ross. Black and white is recurrent in the collection and so is the designer's play with drapes, fabric, bows and cut-outs.
The models strutted barefoot.. Doing their thang wit scarves tied and ankara hand scrunchies. Makeup on the minimal with red matte lips.
