Getting in a little pre-Oscar action, Nicole Kidman showed up at the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards today (February 26).

As usual, the “Moulin Rouge” actress gave the paparazzi plenty to drool over as she hammed it up in the arrivals area clad in a bright red frock prior to the big event.

And Nicole won’t just be a casual spectator this evening - she’s scheduled to hand out one of the night’s coveted awards while also nominated for Best Actress for her work in "Rabbit Hole".

The 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards will air at 10:00 ET on IFC with Joel McHale handling the hosting duties.
