MTN LAGOS DESIGN AND FASHION WEEK FITTINGS

Hello Everybody,

Today is MTN Lagos fashion and design week. Tres excited.

We worked on fitting, model arrangement, Music et al through the week and it was fun. (stressful too… LOL)

Fashion adrenaline pumping high.!

Yesterday, we fitted some designers and I whipped my camera and took pictures of people in the fittings room.

Planning a shoot for a magazine alongside MTNLDFW was a big mistake. I feel I will drop down anytime soon and sleep myself away,

But Deadlines keep us in check. LOL

BEHIND THE SCENE;- HAIR LIMITED FASHION SHOOT.

Sorry fashion phoenixes for my lack of posts. School resumeth next week and I guess I just went into hibernation. The 8am classes and econometric classes begin again... Urrgghh!!

Yesterday, I had a shoot with Veronica Ebie odeka and Kelechi Amadi-Obi for a hair company. It was fun being in a studio with 2 people who actually know their onions in their respective career. From laughing at veronica’s jokes to watching uncle Kelechi sing “Patience by Damien Marley and Nas” with his assistants and him laughing loud when I was amazed at how good his voice was. (I lie not.. his voice was SO cool.! LOL)

With the camera strapped around my neck, I was quick to take pictures of the male and female models that had their hair done by the hairstylists. Trust me, the male models with their hair done made me steal giggles all day... (i couldn’t laugh.. I have a high scratchy laughter. The type that makes you laugh, even though you don’t know what’s being laughed at)

The male models were so cute and masculine. Seeing them in weaves was a funny sight, I tell ya. (And No... they are not gay).

Working with Vanestyle (Veronica’s styling outfit) is so much fun. It has opened my eyes to the fact that styling can not only be a passion for me, but a profession. (I never saw it that way...) The business of fashion is a tricky thing to learn and everyday is an eye opener. I always learn something new and add to my portfolio.

I always laugh so hard at people who think styling is all about pulling looks and putting cute clothes together. It goes beyond that!

BEHIND THE SCENES;- RURAL AMBIENCE

In my last post, I promised to show y’all “Behind the scene” pictures of my shoot with TV Personality, Yvonne Ekwere. The shoot’s theme is less fashion-y but to pour more light on the recent humanitarian duties, Yvonne has been involved with.

The shoot was fun with Obi Somto, Nneka, Kezie and my Styling assistant for the day, Ebere. The location was indeed a blessing and the warm families allowed us use their abode for the shoot without collecting a dime.

The shoot was indeed amazing and awesome. It also made me realize that I have a lot of things to be grateful to God about, Irrespective of other problems. These families were happy to see us in their midst and that gave me so much joy.

BEHIND THE SCENE;- STEPHANIE OKEREKE'S CAMPAIGN SHOOT

This is a campaign shoot for Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke that I had the privilege of partaking in, early this year. Thanks to Nuella Iyoha. J

The Theme was stated and she was styled in pieces by Nigerian Fashion Brands such as Akpos Okudu, Ejiro Amos Tafiri etc.

Stephanie is an amazing person and gave no trouble, posing in flattering ways.
