Sleek Look part 1!

Posted by mickung
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, I have been such a busy bee! I had an acting job in Dorset this morning, and spent all yesterday rehearsing. I drove down with the acting team last night to stay in a hotel in preparation for the job today! It was very fun, I really enjoy acting and it is a little hobby of mine when I’m not at uni!
Anyway, on Tuesday night I went to a football match with my Dad and Sister, and I used my sleek storm palette to do my make-up for the evening, as a few of you said it would be good to see how I use the palette. This is a kind of smoky brown shimmery eye which I do the most often with these eye shadows. I will be doing more colourful looks with them soon!

These are the products I used -
football 086
  • So I primed my eyes with UDPP and applyed #2 all over my eyelid as a base colour.
  • I then blended #1 and #3 on my lid, up to the crease.
  • Then I blended #4 in the crease of my eye, and blended it up a tad higher so you can see the colour when your eye is open, and I added #5 into the outer corner, just to open the eye up more!
  • After I had blended all the eyeshadows together with my holy grail brush (The Body Shops blender brush), I lined my eyes with The Body Shops black liquid liner, and Gosh’s black velvet kohl liner.
  • I used The Body Shops new mascara ‘Big and Curvy’ on my lashes (Review to come!) and finished with a slick of MAC’s Ever Hip lipstick!
The key to this look is building up the colours from light to dark, and blending, blending, blending! This eye shadow brush I just could not live without, it is a staple brush I use whenever I do my make-up and the only one (apart from a blusher brush) that I carry with me constantly.
Do you like this look? So sorry for my tried looking eyes, I think I have slight insomnia and can’t always sleep too well – that and the fact that I watched Paranormal activities a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to sleep with the light off since! Haha! Was this helpful to you? If you do something similar do show me! You can email it to me via my email address in the sidebar of this page!

Body Shop Winter Trend

Posted by mickung
OKAY!
So I'm finalllyyy going to start my blog, get it going!

So, firstly, thought I'd update with some pictures and reviews about the new The Body Shop Winter Trend make-up!
I love this years winter make-up in store, think glittery, sparkly, sexy glam. Almost all products in this range have a shimmer which will be perfect for dressing up in the Christmas holidays!

Whilst at work on Saturday I took some pictures of the products...

Firstly - The Body Shop has recently released a whole selection of lipsticks, which are to die for. Before there were only, like 14 shades? And now there are like 30! They contain Community Trade Marula Oil which is extra moisturizing on the lips, and the colours are just lovely. I adore bright pink lipsticks and used to wear them to work, but was often told to take it off as the shop didn't have similar shades, however now, I have the biggest selection to wear at work.
They are £8.00 in shops, but you can use your Love Your Body Card to get 10% off!

A few bits in the Winter Trend range...

Ice Body Powder: Apricot £10
This stuff is pretty amazing, and I'm definitely buying it for myself. Its a fine loose powder with the most gorgeous subtle sparkle/shimmer. I've already worn it all over my chest and to highlight my brow bone and its just really pretty. ALSO; I'm pretty sure this is edible! Well, I've licked it off my hand a few times and its deinitley yummy, an apricot sweet flavour for sure, so go in and try it out yourself!

Sparkle Roller Ball £7
This is my favourite thing out of this collection. The Body Shop has released it for the past few years (used to be in a fidgety pot), but it now comes in a roller ball style pen. Its the most gorgeous sparkle ever, it shines all different colours in the light and you can literally use it anywhere! I've already got three of these badboys from last year, which I use to sprinkle in my hair for some quick glamour, I use in on my eyes, on my nails, everywhere! It has really good staying power aswell, I have found, which is good when it comes to not leaving a trail of glitter behind. The picture really doesn't do it justice, its better in real life!

Shimmer Gloss: Iced Sparkle £9.50
This is a cute shimmer gloss which has a very nice scent to it! There is another colour in this range, which I think would personally suit my skintone better, this one tends to make me look abit washed out as its so pale, but it looks lovely on darker skin tones!

Eye & Cheek Palette £12
I adore the christmas eyeshadows the shop brings out, as they are always more pigmented than the permenant eyeshadows in store. The palettes have four eyeshadows, a cheek colour and an applicator, in a lovely velvet pouch, with a mirror also, real handy if you're on the move. I adore the brown colour palette. I might do some tutorials with these palettes soon!

Also in the range are two eyeliner/mascara thingys, which are such a good idea. They have a sparkly eyeliner at one end, and a mascara holographic/glittery top coat at the other. I love the idea of it, as I'm obsessed with anything holographic, however I really can't get the glitter to show on my lashes, I'll keep trying though.

At the moment The Body Shop has an offer on make-up, which is... If you buy two make-up items (including brushes!!) then you'll get a free Hi-Shine Lip Treatment of your choice, which is such a good deal, they are normally £9.50!

The new fragrance range was also launched recently in the store, Love Etc. Smells delicious, fruity but not too overpowering/sickenly sweet. It has notes of bergamont, vanilla, pear, sandalwood etc.

And finally, this is me at work on Saturday! I worked a 9hour shift, so I was pretty exhausted, but still going!

So I'll update soon with some tutorials and reviews and possibly videos if I have time away from Uni!!

I'd love to hear from you about what you think about the new range! XXX

Sleek Mediterranean Collection

Posted by mickung

This is a sneak peak post on the new Mediterranean Limited Edition range coming out from Sleek in the next few months!

IMG_0876

First up – the eyeshadow palette!  When I first saw this I truly admired the beautiful colours but was unsure of how I would wear them, but after swatching them I’ve completely fallen in love with the shades and have realised they are completely wearable.  My favourite four are Midnight Garden (dark matt navy blue), Sunset (sparkly warm orange/red/brown), Lotus Flower (shimmery lilac) and Humming Bird (shimmery baby blue/teal).  A brown smokey look is achievable with this palette, as is a smokey blue look.  I can imagine using the others shadows to add a touch of colour under the bottom lashes (stunning for summer, might do a tutorial!).

1

Next up is the blusher and pout polish, both bright pinks (purple/blue based).  Below I have shown a little FOTD wearing both of them – even though they look ridiculously bright you can definitely make them wearable for everyday use with just a touch of colour, like I have (please note the blusher is very pigmented though – so you literally need only a dot on your brush!).  The lip balm is actually quite sheer which I like as I can wear it over other lipsticks.  Also love the fact that the blush has a mirror in the compact!

3

Price list - Monaco iDivine palette - £6.49, Monte Carlo Pout Polish - £4.29 and Santorini Blush - £4.29 and it should be released pretty soon I think (sorry I don’t know the exact date – I’ll try and find out!).

How would you wear the eye shadows in the palette?  Will you be picking anything up from the collection?

XXXX

Last Friday I was lucky enough to attend the Sleek Makeup ‘Destination S’ event in Shoreditch.  I absolutely adore Sleek and their products and so I was very excited to see what they had in store for us!   We were greeted with a bag and a cheque book, full of pages that we could tear out to enter competitions and collect prizes.  I loved the interactive side of this event, it was great to get hands on with new products!  We had our lip ‘prints’ read by a fortune telling man (apparently I’m the Chinese element of wood - energetic, outgoing, don’t like people being late etc – all so true!), we had our skin matched up to one of Sleek’s 30 new foundation shades, we had to create and mix our own ideal lipstick colour, had to try our hand at guessing ten Caribbean maps AND we had a Zumba lesson and competition!

I’ll tell you first about a few new collections coming out and then more details about what we got up to!

^ Oh So Special palette

< Nude palette and Pout Polish

So we got a sneak peak of a few new i-divine eyeshadow palettes that are set to make their debut this year, my favourite two being the Nude palette and the Oh So Special palette - both filled with wearable neutrals and browns that I could easily wear every day of the week – I can’t wait to get my mitts on these!  Along with the Nude palette, a nude blush and lip polish are also going to be released, both again super pretty and wearable, I suspect they’ll be very popular!

Another two LE ranges coming out is the Caribbean and Mediterranean collections, each with a palette, blush and lip polish.  Both of the ranges have stunningly bright colours which are beautiful and perfect for the summer and adding a bit of colour to you outfits.  I absolutely love the look of the orange blush and lip pout in the Caribbean range and the orange/coral will be playing a major colour role in my spring/summer makeup.  We were given the Mediterranean collection to play with so expect a full review of the range in the next few days.

Another product that I absolutely can’t wait to launch is the Pout Paints – these are very very similar to the OCC Lip Tars but I suspect will be more affordable.  They are basically intense pigmented lip paints that you literally need a dab of to paint the lips – and the best bit is that you can mix them to create your very own signature shade.  One of the tasks in the event was to create your own shade with the ten pout paints available, and the best colour was to win a Marc Jacobs watch, and guess what… I WON!!!!  How incredible is that!

poutpaint

So above is the area where we had to mix our own individual pout shades.  I chose to mix a pink, peach and white to create the perfect creamy peach shade which I will be sporting this summer and below is my creation and my swatches!

creation

I must say, I’m pretty damned proud of my little concoction and its made me want to design my whole own lip colour range (that really would be my dream job – to make my own makeup line and create all colours and formulas myself!).  I got feedback on why my shade won, which was the colour is on trend, an instant ‘wow’ upon opening, stunning colour and good creative mix of colour palette.

The stunning little beauty I won was the Marc Jacobs ‘Mademoiselle Rivera’ watch and its absolutely beautiful – it has red diamante lips on the clock face (very apt for the competition!) and because its white it’ll virtually go with any outfit.  I’ve always wanted a designer watch and now I finally have one! AHHH SO HAPPY!!

marc

I had an absolutely great day with some amazing company; Hannah – Baby Blonde, Sabrina – A Little Obsessed, Shirley – Meek N’ Mild, Fei – Peonies and Lillies, Zoe – The London Lipgloss, Fleur – Fleur De Force, Gemma – Gemsmaquillage, Zara – Mouldy Fruit and many more absolute babes!

I’ve got lots of Sleek lipstick, blush and eyeshadow swatches coming up soon so keep an eye out!

Which collection are you eyeing up?  What's your favourite Sleek product?

1

I am SO angry at beauty brands at the moment for releasing SO many beautiful products that I can’t help but buy, leaving me in more and more debt!  This is another Limited Edition product that I could not have passed up; is it just me or are all the Spring LE beauty ranges beautiful this year!

This little beauty can be bought in Boots, by their own makeup brand - 17 for a mere £5.49, which is FANTASTIC value in my personal opinion.  I’ll give you the swatches and then tell you what I think.

2

So you get six eye shadows in a little compact with a mirror and a sponge brush.  Each of the e/s are stunningly pigmented.  Each swatch above was literally a swipe of my finger which I then transferred to my arm and they are all still sparkling and gorgeous.  These types of golds and browns are colours which I can easily use daily for a smokey look, and in my opinion are pretty similar in colour and pigmentation to the Sleek Storm shadows.  I’m overly impressed with this product and I think 17 should invest in bringing out some more palettes like this in their core range!

Have you picked this up yet?  Are you also impressed?

I have been SO excited for this collection. So in every season of the year The Body Shop releases a Limited Edition makeup range and this one is super special for me because it was created in collaboration with my university!

The Body Shop have teamed up with University of the Arts London(woooo!!), London College of Fashion to create this range based on ‘on the go’ makeup. Every product in the range comes with a brush so its quick and easy to apply when your out and about. The Body Shop say - 'Brush with Fashion is the ultimate portable, ultra-stylish make-up in spring's irresistible colour palette. This must-have collection combines The Body Shop make-up know-how with London College of Fashion's cutting-edge fashion and design expertise. This on-trend make-up is ready to wear!'. I’ll show you what I picked up from the range!

IMG_0124

Brush with Fashion Bag of Passion, Makeup bag in two sizes, Tailored Cheek tint and Eyeshadow palette in A La Mode (not pictured above).

2

Tailored Cheek Tint – So glad that TBS have done something creative like this. This little product is basically a cheek tint, which matches your own skin’s natural PH blushing colour. I don’t quite think that my natural blush is this pink, but its a cute colour and fun product none the less. Its comes with a brush applicator so you just squeeze some product out on to your finger and pat into the apples of your cheeks. The formula itself is a really silky gel and blends in nicely, but you need to act fast once its on so that your not left with an obvious splodge on your face! This retails at £8.50 for 10ml so its quite pricey but really cute and will probably last a while because it is quite pigmented.

4

Eyeshadow palette in A La Mode – I knew I had to get this as soon as I first saw it, the colours are perfect for my statement smokey eyes. These shadows are all really pigmented, the silver in particular is just stunning. The set also has a mirror, a black eyeliner and eyeshadow brush. Can’t ask for more! Quite pricey at £18 but your getting four shadows, a brush and mini liner so I think its worth it!

3

Makeup Bags – I’ve been using the big one to hold the makeup I wear daily and its perfect – LCF have obviously thought well about the kind of bags they use to hold their makeup and have designed it so that it zips all the way down and has material at the bottom to stop everything falling out (pictured above). The print is alright, pretty repetitive but it has my uni’s name on it so I don’t care, ahah! The bigger bag is £5 and the smaller one is £3.

Also in the range there are my two favourite Hi-Shine Lip-glosses with brush applicator (which I want), an Illuminating Face Base (which I want) and another Eyeshadow quad with brown shadows and a brown mini liner.

I really love this quirky range and it’s been really hard to resist buying it all. The range comes out on Wednesday 16th February in The Body Shop stores and will be available until it all goes (its Limited Edition remember).

Will you be purchasing from this range? Who else would you like to see collaborate with The Body Shop?

Please note I bought all of these products with my own money! xxx

I apologise for being a bit late on this one, but it took me a while to narrow down all of my favourites from the past year.  I’m pretty sure I’ve forgotten to include some super 2010 products but when I happen upon them I’ll do a post!

So here are my favourite products, new and old, from 2010.

2

1

Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo – I don’t know how I would have survived 2010 without this product.  I probably went through about 15 of these cans; I’ve never repurchased a product more than this.  It keeps my hair smelling fresh and looking clean, it gets rid of my greasy roots if I don’t have time to wash my hair on those busy uni days.

Flirty Body Spray Superdrug – Cheap and cheerful, these scents last so well on my skin and clothes and they instantly put me in a good mood when I spritz them.  The only body sprays I’ve used since I was 15, and I’ve already got through four of them in the past three months.

The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Monoi Miracle Oil – My favourite body moisturizer and multiuse product of 2010.  Keeps my skin feeling soft, my hair feeling silky and I even used it as a massage oil last week.  Smells beautiful, lasts me ages, such good value.

Prive Shine Serum – Only discovered this in the latter half of the year but I don’t know how I controlled my locks without it!  Its full of organic ingredients and controls my shine and makes my hair feel SO soft.  Will definitely repurchase.

Freederm -  Has kept my skin in control all year, whenever I felt like I was getting a spot I’d apply this and it would vanish in half the time that it normally would.  About to purchase my third tube of this stuff!  I’d recommend it to people who get pimples from stress!

L’Oreal infallible foundation in Porcelain -  The foundation I knew I could rely on all year round.  So happy that I know have a foundation that I know matches my pale skin tone perfectly.  Lasts well on my skin and isn’t too pricey for a good foundation.

IMG_1024

MAC Zoom lash black fast – My new favourite everrrrrr mascara!  Discovered this when the MAC Venomous Villains collection came out, and I haven’t stopped using it since!  Makes my lashes long and voluptuous, a definite favourite discovery of 2010.

Bunny Rouge As if it were Summer Still… Bronzer -   Words can’t describe how much I have totally fallen for this bronzer.  Before I got this I had never ever worn bronzers because I couldn’t find one that didn’t make my pale skin look orange – but this has totally exceeded all expectations.  It makes my cheekbones look bronzed, it contours really well and lasts a surprisingly last time on my face.  You only need a little and the packaging is fab – I totally recommend this.  Its pricey at £44 but I’ve already saved up for and bought another because I love it that much.

YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick #13 Peach Passion -  Absolute lipstick gold dust.  The most perfect summer colour for me, has an incredible silky feel to it, beautiful packaging, I couldn’t possibly ask for more in a lipstick.  I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I can wear this with a cute denim jacket and flip flops!

Estee Lauder Crystal Baby Lipstick – My absolute perfect nude lipstick.  It smells beautiful, lasts well, keeps my lips soft and I know I can wear it whatever my mood.

MAC Ever Hip – I couldn’t wait for the Liberty of London collection in 2010 and I knew I had to get this lipstick.  This was the product that converted me to a peachy pink lover.  Stunning colour, cute packaging, I wish it wasn’t limited edition.

The Body Shop Lip Liner in #10 Pink Brown – My perfect lip-liner, matches my lips perfectly and has lasted me all year.

Topshop Nice N’ Neutral Nail Polish – 2010 saw me being a bit less adventurous with my nail colours and I decided that I really adored pretty, clean, neat, nude nails.  This is my favourite nude polish.  I love the whole makeup range that Top Shop launched in 2010, I’m looking forward to their 2011 products!

Stargazer Holographic Glitter – This is my must have for nights out on the town.  Holographic glitter that I applied on various special occasions on top of my dark smokey silver eyes.  I also started experimenting with sprinkling this over nail varnish in 2010 and it looks really cute – will do a tutorial soon!  This glitter is stunning, versatile and soooooo affordable!

The Body Shop Blusher in #05 – My favourite and most worn blusher of 2010, looks like a natural contour/flushed colour on my cheeks.

The Body Shop Hemp Lip Balm – I bought this a while back and recently rediscovered it, and it has kept my lips soft all through the winter months.  I really recommend this lip balm and will continue using it throughout this year!

Bourjois Effet 3D Les Nudes Lip-Gloss in #34 – I discovered this gloss last year and its become a firm favourite, actually, its become my favourite lip gloss ever.  Smells incredible, isn’t sticky or tacky at all and matches my lip colour.

IMG_1058

GOSH Velvet Kohl Eyeliner in Black Ink – My staple black kohl eyeliner, I use this every single day and I adore it.  Its really pigmented, its soft so it doesn’t drag on the skin around my eyes and sharpens really easily and without mess.

Sleek Storm Palette – This deserves the palette of the year award in my opinion, I just adore it.  All the colours are stunning and pigmented, its so affordable at under £6, and has lasted me almost all year (I’ve just purchased a few back ups which I’ve started using!).  When going on holiday in ‘10, this was always a staple in my make up bag and it didn’t take up any room at all.  Everyone should own this!

MAC Nylon Eyeshadow – My absolute favourite highlight eyeshadow and one which I wear daily, it really suits my pale skin and also goes well with any other eyeshadow, no matter what the colour.

MAC NC15 Studio Finish Concealer – I don’t know how I ever lived without this concealer in my life (as dramatic as that sounds!).  I used to use stick concealers which just dried my skin out and never matched my skin colour exactly, but this is just perfect.  The perfect amount of coverage as well, I use this on all problem areas on my face almost everyday, and often without the use of foundation.

LUSH Honey I Washed the Kids Solid Perfume – My favourite perfume which was discontinued in 2010, which I’m gutted about, but I managed to stock up on a few before they all disappeared.  I adore the sweet smell, and the fact that its a solid perfume meaning it lasts forever and also is small enough to keep in my purse to apply on the go.  LUSH, please bring this beauty back soon!!

Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation in Porcelain – I stocked up on these in 2010 and use it when my skin isn’t being ‘naughty’.  Its really light but the coverage is buildable, you get so much product in each pot and its been lovely at setting my makeup.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Night Cream – I have used this daily in either the morning or evening throughout the year and its kept my skin moisturized and soft and it has never given me spots.  I can’t fault it and I’ll continue using this throughout next year!

That's it!! My 2010 favourites!

I’m already excited by all the great products already hitting the shelves in 2011 and I’m sure that I’ll gain a lot more ‘star’ products.

Did you have any of the same favourites as me?  What are you looking forward to trying in 2011?

I fell in love with this palette after first seeing pictures of it online – I have never owned a palette like this and couldn’t imagine having so many varieties of colours in one place.  The packaging is lovely and sleek, and its surprisingly light as well so its easy to carry around – a really portable palette.

The set contains 100 different eye shadows ranging from nude peach to neon pink to moss green – most are shimmery but there a few matte shades in there too.

The colours are gorgeous aren’t they!  I’m really looking forward to playing with this palette and creating different looks with it, which of course I will post.

I’ve swatched a few of my favourite random shades – these were on my arm without any primer.  With primer they are a lot more vibrant and striking so I definitely recommend using them together!

IMG_0637

100 shadows in a sleek palette for only £15, I think is such a bargain and a lovely Christmas pressie for sisters or friends.  It’s available from the EyesLipsFace website and its limited edition only for Christmas.  Grab it whilst you can, I say!

Who else has a massive palette crush right here!  Did you get one of these for yourself this Christmas?  Can you recommend any other palettes like this?

P.S I was sent this product free of charge however all opinions are truthful and honest!

Sleek Bad Girl Swatches

Posted by mickung

When this palette first starting making its debut on beauty blogs I knew I had to have it!  I rushed out to Superdrug to pick it up and I’m so glad I did.

I think that if I could create my very own smokey palette, it probably would have been identical to this!!  The colours are all ones that I would use on myself on a night out, Sleek did very well here in my opinion.

IMG_0397

Top Row – Innocence, Gullible, Blade, Gun Metal, Underground, Noir

Bottom row – Intoxicated, Envy, Obnoxious, Abyss, Twilight, Rebel

2

My favourites are Blade, Gun Metal, Intoxicated and Twilight, although all are beautiful and I can see myself using them all.  Certain colours in this palette really remind me of my Kat Von D palette (which you can view here) which is also one of my favourite eye shadows sets.  I’m also delighted that they bought this out as its very similar to the Graphite palette they released a while ago, which was limited edition and I didn’t manage to get it – they shades are very similar, so I’m happy!

IMG_0549

What I think - I like the fact that Sleek are now coming to terms with the fact that the public want the eye shadows in their palettes named, so now we can easily identify them.  All shadows are beautifully pigmented and for £5.99 the quality again is fantastic.  Sleek is fast becoming one of my favourite makeup brands, if only they would start replying to my emails – (I’ve sent them about 5, none of which have been replied to yet!).  I’m glad to say this palette is also becoming permanent, so there's lots of time for you to go out and grab yours.  I’ll do some nice dramatic smokey eye looks with them when I have a break from Uni!

Have you got this palette yet? What are your favourite colours and would you like to see some looks created with this set?

Evening sweetpeas! How is everyone today?  My throat is still pretty sore but I’m recovering well.  It hurts to laugh and yawn so I keep trying not to although its quite hard!  I also can’t speak long sentences cause it hurts/aches my throat – my family are probably very happy to have some peace and quiet for once! Haha!

Anyway.  My BFF, Rhianne, went to New York City last week and bought me back Birthday Presents! (We have known each other and been best friends since we were babies and are always religiously late giving each other birthday gifts!)

IMG_0160

I had asked her to pick me up a Kat Von D palette as we can’t get them here in the UK, and she got me two!  Along with Benefit’s “That Gal” and Stay Don’t Stray primer (and a cheeky little I <3 NY shot glass!)

palletes

True Romance Eyeshadow palette in Metal Orchestrametlorcehst

L-R First Class, Techno, Thrasher, Dagger, Lucifer, Glock, Razor Gray, Slayer (cream)

How gorgeous is this!!!  I’m in love with this palette, its very ‘me’.  My favourite colours and the ones I can see myself using the most would be Thrasher, Glock and Razor Gray.  I haven’t actually used this palette yet but this holds all the key colours for me to do a smokey look.  I also love Slayer, which is a cream instead of a powder shadow.  its nice and thick and pigmented which will make a great light silver base for my looks.  Slightly disappointed with Techno and especially Dagger – they re both stunning colours in the palette but they just don’t translate as well on the skin, I had to use quite a few swipes to get the colour pigmented on the swatch above for those two shadows.

True Romance Eyeshadow Palette in Love and Fury (also named Adora)loveandufry

L-R Albino, Holy Bible, Slayer (cream), Glock, Crucifix (cream), Bloodletting (cream), Ace of Spades, Oddfellow

Again, a perfect palette to create a smokey look.  I love the concept of this palette - “Every woman has two sides” – The angelic side and the dark gothic side.  I will be mixing both sides of my womanly mystery when it comes to using this palette, combining the gorgeous highlighting shimmers with the dark gothic creams.  My favourite from the previous palette – Glock, is again in this one which is fab.  I’m also really impressed with the three creams, I can’t wait to get my gothic on!!  Again, Ace of Spades and Oddfellow are quite disappointing as they look so stunning in the pan but don’t look as nice on the skin.  Ace of Spades reminds me of MAC’s Beauty Marked though!

On the Sephora USA website the palettes cost between $34-24, so that works out to be around £21-15 which is a good price to pay for a stunning palette with 8 eye shadows!  The palettes themselves come absolutely stunningly wrapped inside a decorated box and the palettes are a really nice size, very portable.  They also come with two small eyeshadow brushes which is great – so much better than the sponge ones you normally get in palettes.

IMG_0236

I haven’t yet had a chance to try out my “that gal” primer as I haven’t worn make-up in ages, being ill and all, so I’m looking forward to trying it out when I next venture out of the house!  I will be reviewing it in the next few weeks along with all my other Benefit products so stay tuned for that!

Has any one else got any of the Kat Von D palettes, or makeup?

What do you think, have I tempted you?

AND!!! Don’t forget my GIVEAWAY post!! Not many of you have entered which I’m surprised at!  Its a big thank you so go head and enter HERE! You’ve got nothing to loose, right!
